Adventures Unlimited was started in 1993 by Carlo
and Julie Smith out of their love of the outdoors and desire to share it with others.
Their philosophy is simple: Provide our guests the best outdoor adventures possible.
This philosophy is shared by all our staff and it shows in their attitude. WE TRULY

Adventures Unlimited’s Staff is second to none.
Our office and reservation staff has years of experience and quite honestly have
heard every request! They provide our guests with detailed information about the
services we provide as well as what is available in the area, helping you design
a memorable adventure. Our guides are some of the best anywhere. They are reliable,
responsible, experienced and committed to enhancing your safety. All are qualified
in CPR and First Aid; many have earned credentials in Wilderness First Responder
and Swift Water Rescue. All of our guides are extensively trained in boat handling,
local ecology and history and customer service. They are friendly and want to share
their knowledge and enjoyment of the river with you.
Adventures Unlimited’s resort is truly world class,
30 acres of beautifully landscaped facilities. We offer lodging from primitive tent
camping to full hookup RV sites, Cabins to bungalows. Whatever your desired level
of comfort we can accommodate you. Our clean modern store, bathhouse, laundry and
conference center are designed to provide our guests with the service you would
expect from a world class Adventure Resort. Our landscaping and extensive gardens
have been created to showcase native species of plants and animals. We are committed
to the environment and conservation, we employ sustainable business policies to
help insure our kids and grandkids will be able to enjoy the great outdoors as much
as we have. We have converted our vehicles to operate on renewable Bio-diesel, installed
compact fluorescent lights and implemented extensive recycling and water saving
efforts. As we construct new buildings we will be utilizing sustainable building
products and exploring the use of solar power. We are creating an environmentally
sensitive resort which can be enjoyed for generations to come.
