Adventures Unlimited is pleased to offer our guests exciting family adventures on the Hiwassee River. Our 5 mile Hiwassee Adventure begins at the Appalachian Powerhouse and then a wonderful float down one of the most scenic rivers in the East. Numerous class I and II rapids spice things up, keeping even the hardened adventure seekers excited. Finishing with an exciting class II+ run, “Devil’s Shoals” and then a relaxing float into Reliance. Cool water, fast currents and rock ledges make the Hiwassee River the perfect family adventure. The Hiwassee is a Tennessee State Scenic River and is simply beautiful and has enough whitewater to keep everyone interested but not enough where you need a guide.
