Day 3 HIKE TO HUANCA HUANCA AND HUAJACHACA BRIDGE AT THE APURIMAC RIVER:

After a balanced breakfast, a short hike to Loretuyoc forest will uncover over two hundred endanger species of trees and explore part of the royal highway coming from Cusco and going towards the Apurimac river and then to the Pacific Ocean coast. Hiking for the next two hours down through Kusichaca remains to Huanca Huanca village (2800 meters) we will meet the local people and have the chance to bring some help to the local school. From here, we will board the vans and drive for a half an hour to the end of the road from where we will have a ͞must hike͟down for about 500 meters to the river near the base of the Inca bridge of Huajachaca, used by the antique Peruvians to exchange goods between the Pacific Ocean coast and Cusco, the capital of the empire at (2100 meters). Lunch will be served at the river shore. At this point we will meet the other part of the crew, our river rafting guides who will have all the equipment and gear needed to continue with our expedition by river. After lunch our river rafting guides will provide us a safety briefing before getting to the class 2-3 rapids of this fantastic river. We will paddle for about 2 to 3 hours will meet a tributary call Santo Tomas River and continue through an amazing limestone canyon, until getting to our campsite. Dinner will be served at the campsite around the campfire. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)
